Why Sheldon Lee Cooper would be a bad scientist

Sheldon Lee Cooper B.S., M.S., M.A., Ph.D. & Sc.D. Is an amazing character in big bang theory who specialises in heteroctic string theory and is no doubt a smart man, with a vast bank of knowledge; from the introduction of the fork in Thailand to the inner working internal combustion engines. yet there is one problem i have with him and that is that be is a scientist but is arrogent, close-minded and egocentric. He refuses to believe others and thinks he deserves a nobel prize even to the point of mocking others who have been awarded one. This is no way to behave and approach the world using the scientific method, a scientist must be open minded and open to other people opinions thats not to say they should believe them no matter what, but at least give reason why not to believe then rather than seeing your self as always right and everyone else inferior.
